This tutorial is the Peking University version of the planning textbook for undergraduate Chinese language knowledge for foreign students. The book consists of seven chapters, with reflections and exercises after the relevant chapters, and reference answers, punctuation marks usage, etc. at the back of the book. This course is aimed at teaching Chinese grammar knowledge to learners of Chinese as a second language, emphasizing practicality. The whole book focuses on the grammatical points that foreigners need to pay special attention to when learning Chinese. Through the study of this course, foreign students can initially master the basic knowledge of Chinese grammar. Some example sentences and exercises in this book are selected from authentic corpora of contemporary books and periodicals, with the aim of enabling students to improve their Chinese proficiency while learning grammar. This tutorial can be used by foreign students majoring in Chinese language, and it can also be used as a training material for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language or as a teaching reference for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.
