Beautiful Bridge: Preliminary Practical Spoken Chinese·Workbook ( Vol.2)

Beautiful Bridge is a short-term Chinese textbook series for beginners, composed of two volumes, with 12 lessons in each. Among the 24 lessons in total, the first two focus on phonetics and the rest are the main lessons. Each main lesson is divided into several sections, including texts, new words, supplementary new words, notes, language points and language activities. The texts feature fixed characters and revolve around a foreigner called Mike’s work and life in Beijing. Each lesson focuses on one topic, the whole series covering various aspects such as shopping, taking a taxi, scheduling, ordering food in restaurants, traveling, weather, sports and home furnishing. Being close to life reality, it enables students to master “survival spoken Chinese” in a short time. This is the workbook matching Book 2.
